Family Coaching Packages
Portrait
A portrait is the foundational component of the Transformational & Clarity packages. To create a portrait, I take a deep dive into the concerns discussed during the complimentary consultation to find the root cause. The Portrait includes 3-6 sessions of discovery, which includes a combination of parent interviews, child interviews, and observations, a comprehensive report of findings, and a follow-up meeting to discuss the findings and recommendations for next steps.
Transformational (Intensive Coaching) Package
The Transformational Package provides the deepest work and allows for the most noticeable familial changes.
This package is for families experiencing a great deal of discomfort typically due to one or more of the following issues: on-going or highly challenging behavior, divorce and/or co-parenting alignment, life transitions, food selectivity (picky eaters), intensive developmental or learning needs of their children. Throughout the course of 3-4 months, I will work with your family to identify the root cause of the concerns, build an individualized care plan using evidence-based practices, and provide teaching and coaching to address these needs. Coaching sessions occur 2-3 times per week at the onset of care and taper down as the family learns and uses strategies. Actual length of care depends on the acuity of needs and the how closely families follow the care plan.
Clarity Package (Focused Coaching) Package
The Clarity Package is for families experiencing one to two parenting challenges. Most commonly, these concerns involve lower-level challenging behavior (e.g., tantrums, talking back, hitting, biting), sibling relational issues, difficulty with bedtime or morning routines, rule breaking or not following directions, or how to help children with developmental disabilities. Throughout the course of 6-10 weeks, I will work with your family to explore concerns, identify an individualized care plan, and teach parents to implement evidence-based strategies to create meaningful changes. Coaching sessions occur 2-3 times per week at the onset of care and taper down as the family learns and uses strategies. Actual length of care depends on how effectively parents implement strategies.
Strategy Sessions
Strategy sessions are consultation-based. I will gather as much information as possible in order understand what is going on with the goal of understanding potential causes. I will provide you 2-3 concrete strategies to address the situation, a written summary of our discussion, and recommended resources.

Family coaching packages include two main components: a portrait & coaching. The portrait (see description below) provides a clear picture of the presenting needs of the child and family and offers recommendations for how to best move forward in the coaching process. I meet with the family to review the portrait and to develop an individualized care plan that uses evidence-based strategies and is aligned with your family’s values system. We use this care plan throughout the coaching process, checking in regularly to ensure we are progressing in the right direction. As an instrumental part of your family’s growth, your voice is ALWAYS heard and honored! We use objective and subjective measures to ensure the progress is meaningful to you.
Executive Functioning Coaching
Does your preteen, teen, or young adult have difficulty focusing, planning & executing tasks (homework/chores/life responsibilities), prioritizing responsibilities, or problem solving when faced with new situations? If any of these resonate with you, executive functioning coaching could help your child. I will work with your child to establish a system for organizing and completing tasks that works for them, develop strategies for prioritizing responsibilities, problem solve when overwhelmed, and monitor their success. Parents often identify the need for executive functioning coaching when their child is starting a new school year/semester in college or high school, managing homework, sports, club commitments, or living on their own for the first time. Sessions typically take place 1-2 times per week at the beginning of our work together and fade down to 1-2 times per month as the we find success. The goal is to help your child establish functional routines and become independent problem solvers, so they can be as independent as developmentally appropriate.
